Not a big green tea fan? You can still reap the benefits in this simple smoothie loaded with green goodness.
One green tea bag, 3/4 cup boiling water, 1/2 cup mashed banana, 1/2 cup crushed ice, 1 tbs. Orange juice, 1/2 tsp. minced fresh Ginger, honey or sugar to taste. Brew the tea bag until desired strength. Remove tea bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Blend tea, banana, ice, orange juice and ginger until smooth. Add sweetener and serve immediately. Enjoy!
