About Me

My photo
Namaste
This is where I, Marisa Guerrera, share pieces of my life experiences and years of self-study, to help others navigate the messy middle of life. This is my truth on being human, being a mom, being a light for anyone popping in and out of the dark. It was my grandmother who first introduced me to the notion of God. She taught me how to connect to this unseen force through prayer. Later on, my third-grade teacher showed me the endless possibilities of enlightenment when connected to this higher power. In 2005 I decided to dive deeper into the spiritual realm through the study of yoga. That was the second phase of my spiritual awakening. Marriage, motherhood, and divorce were also spiritual pockets of enlightenment that brought me to my knees. Amidst my struggles, while in search of light, I have felt the closest to God, the Universe, Source, whatever you want to call this force. This blog is my landing pad for the words and feelings that don't always have a place to go. May these words serve you in the highest good so that you may feel seen, understood, or better connected to your soul.
